Our client is looking for a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join their team, responsible for performing a variety of routine radiological x-ray and CT imaging procedures. This role involves providing direct patient care across all age groups, ensuring safety, comfort, and professionalism throughout each procedure. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient well-being and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine x-ray and CT imaging procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Ensure patient comfort and cooperation throughout imaging procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, ensuring accurate patient positioning for optimal images.
• Provide direct patient care, accommodating the needs of patients across all age groups.
• Explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
• Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during and after imaging.
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures, patient information, and any anomalies.
• Properly document radiation doses administered.
• Adhere to hospital and departmental attendance, punctuality, and safety guidelines.
• Follow all organizational policies and procedures.
• Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment as necessary.

Must Have's:

• Vocational/Technical Degree in Radiography Program.
• 1-2 years of experience in Radiology or X-Ray.
• Required: ARRT Registry eligible, to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in mathematical, analytical, and clerical skills.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Salary: Starting at $27.55 per hour
